Ask-Me-Anything with Pat Maddox

July 21, 2015 6:00PM PDT to 7:00PM PDT

This week, Pat Maddox will be our featured AMA guest. The main topic will be, “How junior Rails developers can drop ‘junior’ from the job title and start seeing fatter paychecks.”

Pat Maddox is the founder of RubySteps.com. He started coding Ruby in 2005 by creating a poker training simulator. When Rails came out, he built one of the first revenue-generating Rails websites in the world.

Since then, he has traveled all over the world, shipped software for businesses of all sizes, and helped teams ship better software. He loves programming Ruby and teaching.

Every other week, we invite someone to answer questions from the Apprenticeship Community.

The AMA will be 6 p.m. PST/9 p.m. EST, Tuesday, July 21, in the #_community-events channel of our Slack room. Make sure you’ve joined Apprenticeship Community and accepted your emailed Slack invite to participate.
